Those who thought After All reached their creative peak with the previous album “This Violent Decline”, think again! “Cult Of Sin” displays a band that is determined and focused to deliver an outstanding collection of modern thrash songs, overpowering the previous After All albums in every aspect. Once more, After All showcase the art of combining relentless thrash with power and melody. And first and foremost: the band delivers real songs, with memorable verses and choruses, and not just some endless stack of riffs.
The crystal clear yet in-your-face production of the album is the result of an intense collaboration with sound wizard Dan Swanц (Hail Of Bullets, Nightingale) at the infamous Unisound Studios in Цrebro, Sweden. Adding extra flavour to the already impressive tracks are some of the friends After All made on the road: Juan Garcia and Bernie Versailles (Agent Steel), Andy LaRocque (King Diamond), Joey Vera (Armored Saint) and James Rivera (Helstar). To top it all off, “Cult Of Sin” is graced with stunning artwork by Gabriel Bueno, who recently worked for Killswitch Engage and Lamb Of God, to name but a few.
After All are a prime example of a band that keeps refining its art on stage. Over the last couple of years, After All have been almost constantly on tour throughout the whole of Europe - from Norway to Greece - supporting well-known acts such as Anthrax, King Diamond, Stone Sour, Agent Steel, Exodus, Overkill, Candlemass, Destruction, Vicious Rumors, Armored Saint, Shadows Fall, Metal Church, Life Of Agony, Voivod, Paradise Lost, Saxon and many, many more. After All played high-profile festivals such as Graspop Metal Meeting (with Iron Maiden), Keep It True, Metal Dayz, Dynamo Metal Fest, and more. After All’s activities on the road and in the studio are documented in ‘Scars, Booze And A Bad Case Of Cabin Fever’, a 20 minute documentary film that is included on the ‘Cult Of Sin’ album.
